Exhibition Sept. 9 - Oct. 31
Tim Burton
Get an early start on Halloween by visiting Tim Burton's exhibition in Los Angeles.
If you're in the L.A. area, be sure to check out the impressive Tim Burton exhibition featuring more than 700 drawings, storyboards, cinematic ephemera and more from the creative mind behind dark and quirky movies such as Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas. This display, the third most-attended exhibition in the museum's history, features artwork and object from Burton's own archives and the private collections of his collaborators.
Not to be missed are two large-scale outdoor artworks: a topiary inspired by Edward Scissorhands and Balloon Boy, and on enormous figure based on an amalgamation of characters that Burton introduced in his book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Doy and Other Stories.
Check it out before it ends on Halloween!
