Family Room Changes

Lately we've spent a lot of time remodeling our family room.  We've replastered after removing PINK paneling, removed a window and put in a door and another window in it's place, removed a brick wall and a big old pot belly stove.  Then came the fluffy stuff, new carpet (hard woods floors are in the remainder of the house), new paint (NOT pink) and new furniture which is still not all delivered.

Below are several pictures of our journey through the family room remodel. . . enjoy.

BEFORE - The family room right after moving into our "fixer" . . . with bachelor furniture.
Notice the big window behind the couch because it will be gone in the following photos.

Jason helped clean up following a day of installing the new window and door.
Prior to installing this new door, the only way to our back yard was through the master bedroom, not good.

My awesome handyman husband installing our new natural woven blinds.
Here are the blinds at all different lengths so you can see how the sun comes through the windows.
Notice the new LARGE sectional, we are trying to accommodate our large and ever growing family.
New entertainment unit which still needs to be "dressed", maybe next weekend I will get to that project.
NOTE:  Look what is on TV  :) :) :)
