10 of the Coziest Kitchens Around

What makes a kitchen cozy?  It's the kind of place where you want to hang out in your PJ's with a cup of hot cocoa.  It's a place where families father to go over theirs days and eat dinner together.  It's that kitchen where everyone at the party inevitably winds up gathering.  While there are plenty of different elements that can bring the cozy, it's ultimately the right combination of them that makes a kitchen warm and inviting.  Let's take a look.

Vintage touches like the cabinet hardware, Carrera Marble, and wood floors give this kitchen nostalgic charm.  Sisal carpet and a bead board ceiling add to the appeal.  Of course, no element could add more coziness than a warm brick hearth with a blazing fire.

A couple of vinyl covered bar stools make this a place where guests could sit and enjoy a conversation with their host.

A comfortable bench as a window seat is a perfect spot for kicking off one's shoes and curling up with a good book.

Bead board, farm house sink and the mix of nostalgic and modern cabinetry hardware make this a captivating and cozy kitchen.

The turned style of the legs of this island give this kitchen it's cozy feeling.

Here again we see the nostalgic hardware combined with the marble counter tops and drop lighting make this a kitchen you may have seen a century ago.
Comfortable arm chairs have the coziest spot in this kitchen.   Take note of all of the natural light, the recessed lighting and the under cabinet lighting which together give this room a sunny glow.

The warm color of the walls, while using white cabinetry, adds warmth to a room that could have been rather sterile without this addition.

The combination of exposed beams, wood floors, furniture styled island and traditional living room lighting make this kitchen one I'd like to visit.  Of coarse the island Carrera Marble, my all time favorite, make this enticing as well.
