If you are looking for a new look for your master bedroom, but have been scarred by the cost of custom bedding, why not combine ready made and custom? Below are a few examples . . .
Above, with the exception of the three printed decorative pillows, everything was purchased off of the shelf. What I love is how the three pillows pull the entire look together.
Again, everything above is ready made with the exception of the printed coverlet, which pulls the entire look together.
(Above) - Why not take a ready made bed skirt and add a banding fabric. The only exception I would make to this bedroom design is that I would add the banding fabric to some where on top of the bed.
(Above) - Here you see the same fabric used in several different ways and again combined with ready made items. The beautiful tufted gray headboard is covered in the same fabric as the bench at the base of the bed. The euro shams, bedskirt and roman shades are all made of the same fabric. The paisley and white coverlets are both ready made.
(Above ) - A custom white welting was added to an existing blanket and the custom neck roll pillow adds both the color of the blanket and the welting.
